What is the best supplement for anxiety?
No authorised claim covers anxiety, and no food supplement is a treatment for it. The NHS says the main treatments are talking therapies, usually CBT, and medicines, and adults can refer themselves to NHS talking therapies without seeing a GP. VH Life is not an anxiety product. Its nearest wording is magnesium contributes to normal psychological function, and B vitamins and vitamin C carry the same claim, which is not a claim about anxiety.
What does the NHS say?
The NHS says to see a GP if you think you might have generalised anxiety disorder. It suggests talking about your feelings, calming breathing exercises, yoga or pilates and getting enough sleep, and Samaritans are on 116 123 if you need someone to talk to. Source: NHS: Generalised anxiety disorder.

VH Life is a UK-made food supplement: one 11.8g berry sachet a day in cold water, with 87 active ingredients including 26 vitamins and minerals with declared amounts. It carries the claims above because it provides those nutrients at qualifying levels; it makes no claim beyond them. On subscription VH Life is £49.99 for 28 sachets every 4 weeks, which works out at £1.79 a day. If you take any medicine, ask your GP or pharmacist first. If you take warfarin, ask your anticoagulant clinic first: the sachet contains vitamin K, cranberry, co-enzyme Q10, ginkgo, turmeric and ginseng.
