What is the best supplement for women?
It depends on your age and stage. The NHS says everyone should consider vitamin D in autumn and winter, women who could become pregnant should take 400µg of folic acid a day, and women aged 19 to 49 need more iron than men. VH Life suits women who want one daily all-in-one with vitamin D and B vitamins, but it has no iron and is not for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
What does the NHS say?
The NHS says women aged 19 to 49 need 14.8mg of iron a day, women aged 50 and over need 8.7mg, and most people should get what they need from a varied and balanced diet. Source: NHS: Iron.
