What is the best supplement for weight loss?
VH Life is not one, and it makes no weight claim. The register does hold weight claims for specific things: glucomannan in the context of an energy restricted diet contributes to weight loss, at 3g a day, and meal replacements have their own claims. UK law bans health claims that refer to the rate or amount of weight loss. The nearest wording VH Life carries is about metabolism, such as chromium, biotin and zinc for normal macronutrient metabolism, which is not about losing weight. The NHS Weight Loss Plan app is free.

Where does VH Life fit?
VH Life is a UK-made food supplement: one 11.8g berry sachet a day in cold water, with 87 active ingredients including 26 vitamins and minerals with declared amounts. It carries the claims above because it provides those nutrients at qualifying levels; it makes no claim beyond them. On subscription VH Life is £49.99 for 28 sachets every 4 weeks, which works out at £1.79 a day. There is also a 7-day trial (7 sachets, £12.99, one per customer) and one box of 14 sachets for £34.99, with free UK delivery. See the full label or the ingredients index.
If you take any medicine, ask your GP or pharmacist first. If you take warfarin, ask your anticoagulant clinic first: the sachet contains vitamin K, cranberry, co-enzyme Q10, ginkgo, turmeric and ginseng.
Questions people also ask
Does VH Life help you lose weight?
No, and it may not claim to. It is a food supplement with no weight claim.
Is green tea extract a fat burner?
Green tea has no authorised GB health claim. VH Life contains green tea leaf extract, named on the box without an amount, and makes no claim for it.
What does 'energy-yielding metabolism' mean?
It is the register's wording for the normal processes that release energy from food. Twelve nutrients in VH Life carry that claim. It does not mean more energy, and it does not mean weight loss.
