What is the best supplement for muscle growth?
Protein has the claim. Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass, and creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise, at 3g a day. VH Life contains neither, so it is not a muscle-building supplement. It is a daily base: magnesium contributes to normal protein synthesis, and zinc contributes to normal protein synthesis. The NHS advises strengthening activity on at least 2 days a week.
What does the NHS say?
The NHS says adults should do strengthening activities that work all the major muscle groups on at least 2 days a week, and at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity a week. Source: NHS: Physical activity guidelines.
